Happy new year

Dear Thalwil families, dear supporters,

We wish you a Happy New Year and a great start to 2026!

Behind us lie intensive and moving weeks, which came to a pleasing conclusion with the success at the municipal assembly on December 4, 2025. Together we were able to prevent the uncontrolled increase in after-school care (Hort) fees. This is the best proof: When we stand together, we can make a difference and make Thalwil more family-friendly.

This success gives us momentum for the next big step. We are becoming official: After our founding in November 2025, we are now really taking off in 2026. As of January 2026, we can welcome around 70 new members to our ranks – a warm welcome!

This support is important because 2026 will be a decisive year. The municipal renewal elections (local council and authorities) are coming up in April. Preparations are already underway, and we will be back soon with more information.

PS: We are incredibly pleased that two members of our association are also running for commissions! Sabrina (FDP) is running for the school board and Eric (GLP) for the social commission.
